Welcoming Our Research Assistant: Averie Brooks Joins the CHRIS Team
CHRIS (Cultural Heritage Resource Impact Solutions, Inc.) is excited to welcome Averie Brooks as our Research Assistant for 2025. As a rising scholar with a major in psychology and a minor in criminal justice, Averie joins us also with a strong foundation in archaeological methods and historical research. Averie brings energy, insight, and curiosity to our growing team!
In her role, Averie will support a range of projects, from archival research and report preparation to digital content development and field data organization. She will also assist with descendant engagement, public history initiatives, and ongoing cultural compliance efforts across the Southeast.
At CHRIS, we believe in mentoring the next generation of cultural heritage professionals. Averie’s appointment reflects our commitment to cultivating early-career talent, building research capacity, and expanding opportunities for students to engage directly with the ethical, interdisciplinary work that defines our mission.
Please join us in welcoming Averie to the CHRIS team! We look forward to a productive and inspiring summer of collaboration.
