Our founder brings more than two decades of experience across archaeology, forensic anthropology, osteology, historical research, cultural resource management, project management, museum and collections work, and community engagement. Cultural Heritage Resource Impact Solutions, Inc. (CHRIS) is a specialized cultural heritage research and advisory firm helping organizations and communities investigate, document, manage, and resolve complex questions involving history, cultural resources, human remains, cemeteries, collections, and historic places.
Our work brings together archaeology, historical research, forensic anthropology and osteology, provenance research, cemetery studies, cultural heritage monitoring, and community and descendant engagement. CHRIS also assists organizations working through the histories and future disposition of culturally sensitive materials by reconstructing provenance, documenting individuals and collections, identifying connections to communities and places, and developing the research needed to support informed decisions about their future.
